micro-platy hematite-martite, although resistive, does have some capacitive conductivity as frequency increases, in the dry state. In the saturated state, generally being very porous, it will conduct through the pore fluid. The electrical properties of micaceous hematite are Cited by: 7

Hematite is an ore composed chiefly of a soft micaceous hematite and small amounts of quartz. The micaceous hematite is very thin tablets or leaves of irregular outline, and the quartz is an aggregate of grains. Hematite closely resembles mica schist.
Although for convenience I sometimes state here that the minerals quartz, calcite, magnetite and hematite do not occur in meteorites, these statements are not entirely true. Each of these minerals are among the many minerals listed by Rubin 1997a,b and Rubin and Chi 2017 that have been observed in some meteorites.
26/04/2018Hematite is dense and hard, it is the most important ore of iron because of its high iron content and its abundance. The mineral occurs in various habits: steel-gray crystals and coarse-grained varieties with a brilliant metallic luster are known as specular hematite; thin, scaly forms make up micaceous hematite; and crystals in petal-like arrangements are called iron roses.
siderite-iron mica-martite, martite-iron mica chloritized, redeposited. Among the parent materials, iron mica ores are the most developed. The rich martite-iron mica hematite ―blue‖ ores were formed on their ground. Sili e- magnetite ores are less developed. Based on them, high-
Hematite is one of the most abundant minerals on Earth's surface and in the shallow crust. It is an iron oxide with a chemical composition of Fe 2 O 3.
